In the summer months, bluebirds feed
mainly on insects. In the winter months, they depend on many kinds or wild
berries for their food supply. However, a natural supply of wild berries has
dwindled over the years due to many factors. The few berries that remain are
often eaten quickly by starlings.
Give bluebirds a choice of their
favorites - berries, mealworms, and other fruit by placing one of our
bluebird feeders near a nesting bluebird house.
